Adoption gives an amazing dog a second shot at a great life. When you adopt a dog from your local Animal Services or a private rescue, you save the life of a dog who may otherwise be euthanized.

Rescue dogs are loving dogs

The county animal services and private rescues are full. Every dog fostered or adopted saves a life.

These wonderful dogs are ready to move into your home and be part of your life. Not ready to make a decision? Foster to adopt! Take your time to make sure a dog fits in your life.

Dogs are tested repeatedly with other dogs in playgroups and on outings, so you can feel confident of finding a dog who gets along with your dog.

If you are unsure whether you will qualify for their adoption requirements, please contact Alachua County Animal Services or the local rescue of your choosing for adoption requirement information.
